MOW offers a Mentoring Program for new operators. This is also an opportunity to Test and Tune and Troubleshoot your car, and/or just run it, if you haven't had it out in a while. There is a 5-mile round-trip section of track we can use for this in the Napa Yard.

Mow is planning a New Year's weekend run on the Napa Valley Wine Train tracks. The tentative schedule is set-on in Napa on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, Jan 16 & 17, Run Napa on Jan 17 and set-off.

Start off the New Year on one of the most popular railroads in Northern California, the Napa Valley
Railroad. Travel from Napa to Saint Helena and return, 32 miles round trip, through lush vineyards,
rolling hills and quaint towns. This excursion will take place rain or shine. Set on at the Railroad yard
will be available Friday, January 16, from 3 pm until 5 pm, then Saturday, January 17, 6:30 am until
7:45 am. Following a safety meeting at 7:45 am, the run will depart at 8:00 am. We will have lunch in
Saint Helena, bring your favorite meal, and return to Napa at approximately 3:00 pm. The run fee is
$75.00 per motorcar, no High-Rail vehicles or Home-made railcars allowed. No mentoring on this
excursion. All NARCOA and MOW Rules apply. Be sure to sign up now to be part of the first

Send all three forms, and a check made payable to MOW, to EC Glenn Boatman, 77 Solano Square,
Suite 333, Benicia, CA 94510-2712. Upon receipt of these documents and a check, a run packet with
further information will be e-mailed.

NARCOA insurance, operator's certificate, motorcar spark arrestors, approved up to date turntables, if
equipped, installed radios with NARCOA channels in all cars, and long pants, boots and safety vests,
are required. PRO General Order #6 will be in effect.

MOW is headed back to the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. Set-on April 14 afternoon, with run to follow on the 15th, after any morning set-on.

Pacific Railcar Operators (PRO) is planning a multi railroad tour of approximately 500 rail miles for May, 2026. All the details will be updated after the excursions are confirmed. Check the MOW and PRO websites in early 2026.

May 8 - 14, 2026, TENTATIVE
